Can every electric car charge from a normal plug?

Yes. Any plug-in car can charge from a UK 3 pin socket using a Type 2 to 3 pin cable, or a Type 1 to 3 pin cable for older models. It is slower than a wallbox, so it suits plug-in hybrids, low daily mileage and charging away from home. Use an outdoor rated socket and never an extension lead.
